Barn & Bride collects information only when you choose to provide it — specifically when you fill out a form on this site. The forms that collect information are:

• Contact form — your name and email address
• Claim your listing form — your name, email address, venue name, and any details you include in the message field

We do not collect information passively beyond basic analytics (described below). We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information.

We use the information you provide only to respond to your inquiry or to follow up on your listing claim. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the one you submitted it for.

We retain form submissions only as long as necessary to complete our response. We do not store form data in a database — submissions are delivered by email and handled directly.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third party — full stop. Your name and email address are used only to respond to you, and they stay with us.

The only exception would be if we were legally compelled to disclose information by law, court order, or other governmental authority. In that scenario, we would disclose only what is legally required and nothing more.

We plan to use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data. It does not identify you personally.

If you prefer not to be tracked by Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

This site may use cookies — small text files stored in your browser — for basic functionality and analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking you across other websites.

Venue listings on Barn & Bride may include links to venue websites, social media profiles, or booking platforms. Once you leave our site, this privacy policy no longer applies. We have no control over and no responsibility for the privacy practices of external sites.

If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back periodically, but we don't anticipate significant changes — our data practices are simple and we intend to keep them that way.
